MissTT World jewels unveiled
Ten jewels vying for the title Miss World Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) 2018 have been revealed.
The unveiling took place at Audrey Jeffers House in St Clair, Port-of-Spain on June 14.
Selection of the delegates follows what has been described as an intense two-day screening process. There were four phases of assessment for which two independent panel of adjudicators were co-opted.
At the end of the process, ten young women were selected to compete for the Miss World T&T crown and the ultimate opportunity to this country is Sanya, China, on December 8, at the 68th Miss World.
Two attorneys, a national track and field athlete, two teachers, a student pursuing her masters in psychology and a multiple award winning film maker comprise the bevy of beauties.
Brian Gopaul is the new national franchise director.
The delegates are: Aliyah Fraser, 20, Chaguanas; Britney Smith, 25, South Oropoche; Dennishe Lewis, 24, Point Fortin; Halle Crawford, 19, Maraval; Jessica James, 26, McBean Couva; Kirsty Roopnarine, 24, San Fernando; Marisa Mahadeo, 26, Roystonia COuva; Maya Cozier, 25, St Ann’s; Tishanna Mitchelle, 24, St Augustine and Ysabel Bisnath, 25, Port-of-Spain West.
